fibre terroir

Two fibres form our kitchen linens. Post industrial virgin textile waste diverted from landfill and hand-woven into new cloth in Nanditha’s studio in Bangalore. Rain-fed Kala Cotton - an heirloom variety indigenous to the arid grasslands of Kutch, Gujarat - grown with no chemical input, spun and woven by hand by Shinay Vishal in his Kutch studio.
