The Kala Cotton Hand Towel is part of the Rann Collection; textiles from Kutch, Gujarat, where Kala Cotton grows on rainfall alone in the drylands of Rapar and Bhachau. This is an indigenous cotton: a short-staple fibre that industrial mills reject and only human hands can work. What the machines call a flaw is where the texture comes from.

Handwoven in a 2×2 twill, the weave structure behind fine suiting, gives the cloth its slight sheen, its supple drape, and a surface your hands will keep returning to. Prewashed, and woven dense for daily use. Ivory that belongs beside any tap it hangs near. Generously sized.
