The Bread Bag

$42.00 CAD
ColorNautical Stripe

The bread bag is dense and highly absorbent built to catch crumbs and keep a loaf looking right on the counter without drying it out. Wrap your bread in parchment first, then into the bag.

The textile is handwoven with post-industrial textile waste in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where handloom weavers have been transforming fibre into cloth since the 8th century. The short fibre length left behind by shredded textile waste defeats most machines, but not these looms.

It softens with every wash rather than degrading. The pattern is woven in, not printed, so it holds through years of use.

The Deccan Collection’s most gifted item.
