The Kala Cotton Hand Towel in Teracotta
RAIN-FED: Kutch drylands · No irrigation, no chemical inputs
A hand towel in indigenous Kala Cotton - rainfed Gossypium herbaceum grown in Kutch without irrigation and pesticides. The fibre is handspun and handwoven in Gujarat, then cut and sewn in Ontario.
The cloth carries the marks of its making: a slightly irregular weave, an exposed selvedge along one long edge, a rolled hem along the other. Short edges are finished with a 2” Japanese-style fold. Kala Cotton softens with every wash.
